MTCC hosted a Charity Dinner at Shangri-La Hotel in Bangkok on 12 November 2022. The event was attended by over 240 participants and aimed to raise funds for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives undertaken by MTCC.
The Charity Dinner was themed ‘Masquerade’ and featured an opening dance show, live band, and a special menu created by four of Shangri-La Hotel’s top chefs.
While the guests enjoyed the performances and food, Mr. Wong Kee Poh, MTCC’s auctioneer took the stage to kick off the fundraising with the sale of auction items, which the guests could view upon their arrival. Mr. Wong expertly enticed the crowd to participate in the auction by reminding them of the worthwhile purpose of the night’s auction, which was to support underprivileged children in Thailand.
After a heartfelt fundraiser, attendees were treated to a round of performance by Jennifer Kim, a well-known diva and judge on the popular singing competition show “The Voice” in Thailand.
The event concluded with a lucky draw prize-giving, as the ballroom again filled with cheers and excitement as guests hoped to win the top prize draw of the night, which included an electric motorbike worth Baht 80,000 sponsored by I-Motor Thailand, a DNA test package, a teapot created by a famous artist, an iPad Air, and four 18-inch Skyrace tyres.
All proceeds raised at the Charity Dinner will be donated to Wat Krachang School and other MTCC CSR initiatives.
