On November 18, 2023, MTCC, in collaboration with the Education and Skill Committee of JFCCT, facilitated a peer-to-peer learning program between Wat Krachang School and Keanthong Uppathum School. Thailand’s education system comprises schools overseen by the Ministry of Education and those under the Ministry of Interior. Keanthong Uppathum School, supported by JFCCT, exemplifies an eco-school under the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, Ministry of Interior. With approximately 650 students in Prawat district, Keanthong Uppathum provides education up to Mathayom 6, catering to students from local communities, often from underprivileged families.
Dr. Khim Boo, President of MTTC, along with directors and Mrs. Vibeke Lyssand Leirvag, Chairwoman of JFCCT, organized activities at Keanthong Uppathum School. This involved sponsoring 35 students and 13 teachers from Wat Krachang School to observe Keanthong Uppathum School’s practices in agricultural and eco-friendly product production. This interaction between students from both schools facilitated direct learning and valuable knowledge sharing among teachers and students.
Gratitude is extended to all financial contributors who made this activity possible.
